About the Author
has worked as an advertising copywriter, an associate creative director for television, a contributing editor for a fashion magazine, an executive producer for television commercials and a writing teacher to high school students. Her feature articles have appeared in Cosmopolitan-Philippines, Preview, SME-Insight, Female-Singapore, UNO, Esquire-Philippines, and in the in-flight magazines Mabuhay (Philippine Airlines) and Smile (Cebu Pacific).
A graduate of the University of the Philippines, she is also the author of the novel Wander Girl
. She was raised in Surigao City and now lives in Manila, Philippines. In 2000, she won the Carlos Palanca award for the One-Act Play. In 2011, she founded Astigirl Publishing.
