MELINDA, written by Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Dagmara Matuszak. MELINDA is a haunting tale of a young girl living alone in a world of rot and decay—her only companions are the feral animals that roam the deserted ruins of an unnamed city.
It's cold today. Melinda saw
or thought she saw, a horde of crows
all scarlet and viridian.
that flew like parrots past the bridge;
she rubbed her eyes and they were gone
the road was empty. Only domes
that trundled thoughtfully along
intent on something, and they pass
like beetles made of steel and glass.
Every page of this volume features the truly beautiful illustrations of Dagmara Matuszak. The black-and-white illustrations bring to life the bleak landscape that Melinda calls home. The color illustrations, each one separately printed and hand-laid onto the pages, are both lush and jarring at the same time.
The dimensions of this hardcover book are 8" x 10" and it features over sixty pages. The paper is a unique flecked stock imported from Germany. The cover of the book features a hand-laid illustration and all color illustrations within are hand-laid onto the page as well.
MELINDA is a true first edition; it has never before appeared anywhere. Only 1,000 copies of MELINDA available for sale out of a printing of 1,500. Four hundred are reserved for Neil Gaiman and one hundred are reserved for the artist.
The trim size of the book is 8 1/2" x 12"—each book is enclosed in decorated envelope.
Limited to 1,000 copies—each is numbered & signed by Neil Gaiman.

Once item ships you will receive a tracking number. Seller is not responsible for lost uninsured items once shipped. Seller is not responsible for items lost due to bad address (wrong address format, miscommunication with office security, etc.) Payment can be made thru bank deposit to bank account (Bank of the Philippine Islands), G-Cash (plus G-Cash charges) or personal check (must clear first).
Pickup: SM Megamall (Saturdays, usually 12:00nn), UP Diliman (weekdays, usually between 12:00nn-2:00pm, once every 2 weeks), Katipunan Avenue infront of Ateneo (weekdays, usually between 12:00nn-2:00pm, once every 2-3 weeks).
